Lighthouse Service

Lighthouse is a monthly service for adults with additional learning needs, their families and friends. This meeting takes place on the first Sunday of every month and aims to create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can feel welcomed and valued. Each session is designed to foster a sense of community, offering a safe space for participants to express themselves and engage with others. Attendees often find joy in the shared experiences and leave with a sense of belonging and encouragement.
Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of the Lighthouse meetings, providing assistance and companionship to those who attend. Their dedication and kindness help to ensure that every participant has a positive experience.
The services are interactive and lighthearted and include activities, singing and teaching as well as a buffet tea.
